As well as Lochview Golf Club Coatbridge Golf Course also plays host to a number of other organization, these include:

The Jolly Golfers!

The Jolly Golfers are a group of friends who created an informal club in 1987 who go on an outing to the Island of Rothsay every summer. They have approximately 15 members and membership is by invitation only.

The Friendship Club!

 

The Friendship Club are also a group of friends who organize golf outings to various courses throughout the golfing season. They meet every Saturday and Sunday and they hold their own Summer and Winter league.

They were formed in 1984 and have around 18 members.

The 'Vets'

 

The Veterans Club are a group of semi retired and retired gents who meet each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12.00noon, 52 weeks of the year. They are seasoned campaigners who enjoy their golf.

They also run their own Summer and Winter leagues.
